Physically it looks like
WAX, but it’s the byproduct of the kokam seeds. Previously it was
used as edible oil, especially on the fasting days by the Kokan people,
in the fasting dishes.
Uses:
- Medicinally used to soothe the cracks on the palms and the feet, just to be applied at the spots with a semi-liquid state by heating it.
- Used in Sizing Mill to soften the threads.
- Two spoonful liquid Yojak Kokam Oil + two spoonful pure ghee + sugar = A soothing medicine on direhioria. (Note : please consult the Ayurvedic experts before use.)
